Diploma in Functional Skills - Level 2

Edexcel Functional Skills are qualifications in English, maths and ICT that equip learners with the practical skills needed to live, learn and work successfully.

​

A functional skills course is suitable for learners of all ages, they’re also a mandatory part of all Apprenticeship frameworks in England.

​

There will be a 2-4 weeks coaching session to prepare candidates for examination.

What is the difference between functional skills and GCSE?

The key difference between GCSEs and Functional Skills qualifications is that the former are there to test your academic ability, and the latter exist to see how you can apply your knowledge in everyday situations.
